Marek Tobolewski
Is an artist who sees opportunity and uses his know-how of people skills, building great relationships to make things happen. He knows it is about building bridges, networking and collaborating alongside producing great work. His work is appearing in many spaces such as offices and homes, it is neither Officine nor loud in a statement. It has these organic shapes that echoes nature and the human form and creates the opportunity to take chances with the work and the approach and the pursuit of making things happen within art. He has a subtle confidence in what he does and has experience that he able to share with others.
He doesn’t appear to be an artist who is concerned about meaning. He wants to make good work using complex shapes, layered. They contain a language about themselves. The flow of lines resembles Egon Shellslines ‘Miners the portrait’. These are shapes I am also often drawn to making in my own work, loose but strong.
This lets you know that it is important to get your work out for someone to see it. With events within a studio known as an open studio where the public is able to walk round and look at the working environment and work within the studio
