eavulation

Further exploring with the clay I would roll out the clay use talcum powder so flower wouldn't get stuck first I was very careful  placing the flowers in the clay putting it under the

Roller to imprint in the clay  my first set of samples I was pulling the flowers out

Of the clay, this was difficult in a delicate way.as I was trying to pull the pieces of flowers out . i continued to do this then with the first set then as I got more into this process the second round  I did I left the flowers in they clay this proved to be better I bgan to look at these pieces with plaster with thoughts of bringing them together

With this image on the left  these are

When I first started to imprint the flower                Theses are the before I was unaware to

With thoughts of leaveing traces                                if I should pull them out of the clay my

I was impressed on the impacted they made          lack of knowledge with metrial lead me

To take them out as I continued doing this

I began to leave the whole flower in the

Clay I could not take the polen out of the

Clay and so if but out and left and mild

Imprint  I went on to glaze these with

A shine glaze but this did not compliment the rustic earth look of plaster and flowers

It was giving it a more official cermaics look and I wanted something earthy natural

I wanted something a bit more matt earth looking I began  to think about how I could achevie this placing this work next to the plaster and flowers gave it a decorative look and I was look for something that gave me earth vibes with out a shine as to how this was going to look i just thought bring the plasterand and clay together .

As continue  working with clay I knew had bring something that would keep in more natural looking useing iron and OxI’d I was able rub into the metrial creating a stained look and imprint that complimented the flower I pulled the flower out again hower that would be the last time I pulled out the flower the other other times would burn out and it was leaving a deeper impression on the clay adding a depth that I hadn’t achieved on the other pieces.
