Attending the Beeston Film Festival for research gave me insight into what was possible with short films. I have not been to a film festival before this was very helpful as for development into the future with my work and what is possble within the direction of my artistry. Two of the films that stood out were Marie and Everything is Out to Get Me. The use of sound within both films I found to be interesting and it is something I have taken into my work thinking about the environment.
